Job Description

  • Lead the planning, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects related to the design, construction, and operation of the power plant.
  • Oversee hull construction, outfitting, piping systems, electrical systems, mechanical components, and coating.
  • Manage planning and supervision for mooring systems, LNG cargo handling, and towing operations (both dry and wet).
  • Ensure all activities comply with specifications, classification standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Supervise the commissioning and sea trial execution of the power plant.
  • Act as coordinator and integrator across all project components (Barge - Power Plant - Jetty).
  • Participate in the jetty construction planning phase and lead project risk management preparation.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture/Ocean Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering, focusing on both design and construction supervision for offshore oil & gas facilities.
  • Proven experience in power plant projects is highly preferable.
  • Prior experience as a Project Manager on similar projects is a significant advantage.
  • Strong expertise in hull and marine design/calculations (e.g., ship strength & stability, mooring analysis, offloading systems), material specifications, MTO preparation, steel fabrication, and classification standards.
