As part of its growth, the Group is seeking a high-caliber Legal & Corporate Secretary Counsel to join its core leadership team at the group level.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end legal advisory for domestic and international transactions, due diligence, joint ventures, and new business initiatives.
  • Act as the Group's Corporate Secretary, overseeing governance, compliance, and regulatory reporting across all entities.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex agreements and legal documents.
  • Liaise with external counsel, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders across business lines.
  • Support strategic decision-making through risk analysis and business-oriented legal advice.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure group-wide compliance frameworks are up-to-date and effectively implemented.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., ICSA, licensed advocate) is a strong plus.
  • 7-12 years of legal experience, ideally from a combination of private practice and in-house roles.
  • Proven track record handling complex cross-border transactions, corporate structuring, and regulatory matters.
  • Exposure to multiple industries (e.g., infrastructure, tech, FMCG, healthcare, etc.) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in both team-oriented and independent work settings.
  • Excellent business acumen, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • High integrity and commitment to professional excellence.
